Peter Frampton - I'm in You Album Lyrics

Peter Frampton - I'm in You Lyrics

Im In You

I don't care where I go when I'm with you
When I cry you don't laugh cause you know me

I'm in you
You're in me
You gave me the love, the love that I never had

You and I don't pretend; we make love
I can't feel anymore than I'm singing

I'm in you
You're in me
You gave me the love, the love that I never had

Come so far when you think
you think back
You can't buy what we made, you and I

I'm in you
You're in me
You gave me the love, the love that I never had

(Putting My) Heart On The Line

I could be happy, sitting alone
Walking on my own
I need you, Lord knows why
I can live without you

Putting my heart on the line (You know I am)
Show me a sign
Putting my heart on the line
Yeah...

Coming from my heart, over to you
Don't you understand
You can be me now, just a day
Don't you know that I love you

'Cause I'm putting my heart on the line (You know I am)
Give me a sign (I want a sign)
Putting my heart on the line
'Cause I need you
Yeah...

Think, thinking of you
(Thinking of you, yeah...)

Gotta be free, don't you see
I don't need no (bullshit)

Putting my heart on the line (You can)
Please, show me that sign
Putting my heart on the line
Right now, for me

Putting my heart on the line (Yes, I am)
You gotta show me that sign (Show me the sign)
In your eyes
Putting my heart on the line
Once more, with you

You wanna wear my heart (You wanna wear my heart)
Take it from where it starts (Where it starts)
Putting my heart on the line
Today, always...
(Always with you.)

St. Thomas (Don't You Know How I Feel)

When I call your name, girl
Please don't feel no pain
When I call your name, girl
Please don't feel no pain

I'm gonna win ya
Don't you see by now
Baby I know, gotta go
Ooh don't you know
Don't you feel so hurt, girl
Nowhere to hide
When you're feeling hurt, girl
There's no place to hide, yeah
When you feel like I do today
Ooh this way
When you feel today
Oh baby I know what you feel
Right now, oh

When you saw the sun, girl
Didn't you think it would work
When you saw the moon, girl
Night time couldn't fail
Ah when you wanna be, wanna be
You wanna be on your own
Don't you know how I feel, feel girl
Don't you know how I feel
Don't you know how I feel
Higher, higher I wanna be
Don't you know how I feel
Don't you know how I feel
If it's real and it's real
Know how I feel, tried so hard

Wont You Be My Friend

(How do you feel)
(Feel good)
(How do you think I feel)
(Bloody fantastic)

Oh listen hard for a year
There was a time
They were just feet
They made me come alive
You got the chance of a lifetime
At the mall
I played awhile
Yeah (don't be sad)
Lay low, lay low
They got me up to play
Then I dropped my guitar (yeah yeah)
Played it wrong
48 hours
Walking
Pool table
Bathroom to bathroom
Almost missed the gate (yes I did)
Never seem to make it

Won't you be my friend
Don't you understand
Won't you be my friend
Don't you see what you have done
Won't you be my friend
Don't you understand by now
Won't you be my friend
Don't you see what you have done
(Ooh) ooh

Sit alone in the front room
Steel in my hand
Play along for days and nights
Never saw home

We can be such friends
Don't you see by now
We can be such friends
Don't you see what you have done
We can be such friends
Don't you see by now
We can be such friends
Don't you see what you have done
Night after night
Yeah

(Be my friend)
(Won't you be)
(oh oh yeah)
Pass it on

Ooooohhh

If you got the chance, got the chance
What you got, got the chance, got the chance

Listen hard for a year
Or was it five
They were just feet
They make me come alive
(Hit) hit the coast
To give you understand
Spent the night feeling grand

We can be such friends
Don't you understand by now
We can be such friends
Don't you see by now
We can be such friends
Don't you understand
We can be such friends
Don't you know what you have done
Oh yeah
Won't you be my friend (Won't you be my)
Don't you understand
Won't you be my friend (Wanna be my)
Don't you see what you have done
Won't you be my friend (Won't you be my)
Don't you understand
Won't you be my friend (Gotta be my friend)
Don't you see what you have done
Now I see one friend (Wanna be your friend)
Don't you realize
Now I feel were friends (Wanna be your friend)
Don't you see what you have done
Now I feel we're friends
Don't you understand
Cause we could be such friends
Don't you see the way I feel
I can play, I can play all night
Play all night
Play all night

You Dont Have To Worry

It's been awhile
Though I think I made you smile
I been singin' my song
Thinkin' I was wrong
But now I know
You know it takes so long
Though you're feelin' strong
And you gave me a sign
Made me feel like going on

I, I don't have to worry
You don't have to care
I don't have to worry
Cause' you will always be there

The years went by
As I played for you
Nobody cheered
As I walked on the stage with my dream
Thank you girl
Taking away, all of my fears
And all of the years that it takes

But, I know you don't have to worry
And I don't have to care
You don't have to worry
You know, I will always be there

I, I don't have to worry
You don't have to care
I don't have to worry
You will always be there, yeah
You don't have to worry
And I don't have to care
Cause' you don't have to worry
We will always be there
I don't have to worry
You don't, you don't have to care
I don't have to worry
You will always be there

Oh,
Feeling good
Like I should
Oooh

Tried To Love

What you want from me?
Just got myself free
Oh yeah
Baby what you want from me?
Only in a day
To change over night?
Oo I could see you
Tried to love
Tried to find the one
You'll love forever
You'd just a rich baby

How'd you let him get away from you?
I could be walkin'
Years ago
No one knew my name
Watch out now
How do I know?
Nothin' but what I am
This is the picture
I don't know why
I don't know why I bother
But you tried to love
I tried to find the one
You'll love forever

I don't know why you come
By you're wastin' your time
I don't know why you come
By nothing left
I can't see why you should lie
I don't know why you come by
I don't know why you come by
I can't see why you should lie
I don't know why you come by

Rockys Hot Club

When we walk alone
Rocky and me
So mutch fun
Rocky's hot club
You can join with me
Rocky's hot club
Won't you be with me

He can't be anything more than me
I'm a reflection (I'm a reflection)
He's a reflection of me
Oh oh, oh oh

Rocky's hot club
You can join right now
Rocky's hot club
You can join right now

Christmas eve
Who knew, that you'd be there
I heard you cry
Could it be
Rocky my man
Always heard about you
Never thought I'd have
You for me
Rocky, my man

Rocky's hot club
You can join with me
Rocky's hot club
Won't you be with me (with me)
Rocky's hot club
You can join right now (right now)
Rocky's hot club
Join right now
Rocky's hot club
You can join with me
Rocky's hot club
Be with me, be with me
Rocky's hot club
You can join right now
Rocky's hot club
Be with me
He's my friend

Voice says,
"Beautiful, that was really great"

(Im A) Road Runner

1,2 1,2
Ooh yeah

Not to easy
Just to live a life free and easy
With my toothbrush in my hand
Won't you let me be your traveling man
Cause I'm a roadrunner, baby ooh ooh

I'm a roadrunner, baby
Can't stay in one play too long
I'm a roadrunner, baby
Look at me and I'll be gone

Well you can love me if you wanna
I can do nothing
When I get restless
I got to move somewhere

Yes I'm a roadrunner, baby
Gotta go some place on my own
And I run as I live
Gonna live like I run
Roadrunner, baby

I don't need no woman to tie me down
You know I gotta be free, baby to roam around
Ya know all my life I've been like this
Love me at your own risk
When the dust hits my shoes
I just gotta move

I'm a roadrunner, baby
I just got to keep on, keeping on (ooh ooh)
I'm a roadrunner, baby
I can't stay in one place too long

I'm a roadrunner, baby
Anywhere, anywhere on my own
I'm a roadrunner, baby
Got to keep on, keepin', keeping on
Ooh ooh
I'm a roadrunner, baby
Anywhere, anywhere on my own
I'm a roadrunner, baby
Anywhere on my own

Signed, Sealed, Delivered I'm Yours

Like a fool I went and stayed too long
Now I'm wondering if your love's still strong
Oo baby, here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours
Then that time I went and said goodbye
Now I'm back and not ashamed to cry

[Chorus:]
Oo baby, here I am, signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours
I'll be yours
Here I am baby
(Signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours) Oh here I am baby,
(Signed, sealed, delivered, I'm yours) Baby

Done a lot of foolish things
That I really didn't mean, yeah
Oo-wee babe you set my soul on fire
That's why I know you're my one desire

[Chorus]

Done a lot of foolish things
That I really didn't mean
I could be a broken man but here I am
(Here I am)
Here I am baby (signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours)
Here I am baby (signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours),baby
Here I am baby (signed, sealed delivered, I'm yours)
[Repeat]
