Rancid - Tomorrow Never Comes Album Lyrics

Rancid - Tomorrow Never Comes Lyrics

Tomorrow Never Comes

No judge, no jury, no civil rights
Show up on the line, get ready to fight
Run the streets and seize the night
Mow 'em f*cking down
Everyone know it's all about hate
Take control, go eliminate
Bite the bullet, go seal the fate
Mow 'em f*cking down

Don't you tell me about tomorrow
'Cause tomorrow will never come
Gonna cheat, steal, and borrow
'Cause tomorrow never comes

Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes

Tonight the wheels fell off the hustle
Show no mercy hired muscle
Now a thirst for fight and scuffle
Mow 'em f*cking down
Running smart not running scared
Ended up where no one dared
A war like this no one is spared
Mow 'em f*cking down

Don't you tell me about tomorrow
'Cause tomorrow will never come
Gonna cheat, steal, and borrow
'Cause tomorrow never comes

Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes

Don't you tell me about tomorrow
'Cause tomorrow will never come
Gonna cheat, steal, and borrow
'Cause tomorrow never comes

Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Tomorrow never comes

Mud, Blood, & Gold

Ghost ship cuts through the mist
Enter through the Golden Gate
On another twist
Another twist of fate
Hell awaits at the harbor
Another lamb to the slaughter

Mud, blood and gold (and gold, and gold, and gold)
Mud, blood and gold (and gold, and gold, and gold)

Find yourself on a street all alone
Madness and mayhem and murder surround ya
Fistfight, blood splatter, cobblestone
Face down in the sand is where they found ya

Mud, blood and gold (and gold, and gold, and gold)
Mud, blood and gold (and gold, and gold, and gold)

Devil in Disguise

Beware who's around you hiding in plain sight
Beware who's around you in the broad daylight
Beware who's around you 'cause the truth just might
It may be the devil in disguise

Beware who's around you hiding in plain sight
Beware who's around you in the broad daylight
Beware who's around you 'cause the truth just might
It may be the devil in disguise, yeah
It may be the devil in disguise

She's got a smile fit for a queen
Pick your pocket, leave it clean
Long con, swindle heist
Money down, pay the price
Never kneel for the throne
Crewed up, never alone
House haunted, thick with thieves
Soldiers show up, no reprieve

Beware who's around you hiding in plain sight
Beware who's around you in the broad daylight
Beware who's around you 'cause the truth just might
It may be the devil in disguise, yeah
It may be the devil in disguise

Cops on the take, murdering thieves
Nothing's sacred, do as they please
All for sale, barbarous town
Disappear, never found
Cops on hire, always paid
No guarantees, end of days
Tragic gift, late at night
What they want, plead your life

Beware who's around you hiding in plain sight
Beware who's around you in the broad daylight
Beware who's around you 'cause the truth just might
It may be the devil in disguise
It may be the devil in disguise

New American

Yankee cutter, trade wind breeze
Wayward soul on the seven lost seas
We ran in Boulder 'til it was time to go
Worked the Klondike in the ice and snow

As I watched the sun go down
The night is just begun
This is my home now
For I am a new American

Eddie the Butcher was a stevedore
We sailed together to the Singapore shore
That's where we met Calico Jim
We drank his money and his bathtub gin

As I watched the sun go down
The night is just begun
This is my home now
For I am a new American

Sixteen days, dead-end street
Ironclad, pride of the fleet
As long as I can live to tell
The Butcher and I can still raise hell

As I watched the sun go down
The night is just begun
This is my home now
For I am a new American

The Bloody & Violent History

The bloody and violent history
The bloody and violent history
Of the Barbary Coast
Of the Barbary Coast

Who regulates the regulators?
Who liquidates the liquidators?
When you can't trust a total stranger
And a gun's pulled by your neighbor
Watch your back

The bloody and violent history
The bloody and violent history
Of the Barbary Coast
Of the Barbary Coast

Who orchestrates the orchestrator?
Intimidates the intimidators?
When you can't trust the lawmakers
And the grifters and the takers
Watch your back

The bloody and violent history
The bloody and violent history
Of the Barbary Coast
Of the Barbary Coast
Of the Barbary Coast, yeah

Don't Make Me Do It

Would you please put down the knife?
Don't make me do it
You'll be running for your life
Don't make me do it
End this as fast as I can
Don't make me do it
Don't come back here again
Don't make me do it

Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it

I told you this once before
Don't make me do it
Now I kick you out the door
Don't make me do it
Now you're seeing what's in store
Don't make me do it
Now your gonna taste the floor
Don't make me do it

Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it
Don't make me do it

It's a Road to Righteousness

No angels to guide you
When you're born to a life without station
Where the kings are the fools
And I break all the rules
And I'm living a life with no nation

You can't teach loyalty
It's an honor bestowed
It's a road to righteousness
When you live by the gentleman's code

First rules, where we were schooled
Always stand up to power
There are those who we don't speak kindly of
But with you I will spend my final hour

You can't teach loyalty
It's an honor bestowed
It's a road to righteousness
When you live by the gentleman's code

I look upon the world we're in
Twilight of my life appears
And I say goodbye to the ones I love
I will never see you again

You can't teach loyalty
It's an honor bestowed
It's a road to righteousness
When you live by the gentleman's code

You can't teach loyalty
It's an honor bestowed
It's a road to righteousness
When you live by the gentleman's code

Live Forever

Tape in the boombox
Knee-high white socks
Cornered in the gulag
Jabbed full of clorox
Stabbed in the meltdown
Full-time downtown
Part-time psycho
Full-time get down

Get to the show
Do what we know
Get yourself ready
Let's go, let's go
Living in shambles
Hard to handle
Light the candle
Dodge the scandal
Con the conman
Kiss the boogeyman
'Cause, we're gonna live forever
Yes, we're gonna live forever

Everybody pushed up
Oxblood moonstomp
Give em' the boot comp
Lime green mohawk
Standing at the front line
Running through the stop signs
Making a lot of headlines
Disrupt timeline

Get to the show
Do what we know
Get yourself ready
Let's go, let's go
Living in shambles
Hard to handle
Light the candle
Dodge the scandal
Con the conman
Kiss the boogeyman
'Cause, we're gonna live forever
Yes, we're gonna live forever, right

Get to the show
Do what we know
Get yourself ready
Let's go, let's go
Living in shambles
Hard to handle
Light the candle
Dodge the scandal
Con the conman
Kiss the boogeyman
'Cause, we're gonna live forever

Drop Dead Inn

Is there anyone that I can call upon?
It's five o'clock and it won't be long
I stand here so, so lonely
But I know the desperation will subside
Into the tide where I come to find
A great collide of human kindness

Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Before it's too late
At the Drop Dead Inn

I need a place where I belong
In a world that's all gone wrong
The broken can be healed with love
I know the judgment will be put aside
'Cause I'll make it through
With the three of you
We all can shine and everyone will know it

Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Meet me at the Drop Dead Inn
Before it's too late
At the Drop Dead Inn

Prisoners Song

I need you 'cause I have a problem tonight
Cold breeze in a storm an electric light
Shut down the city 'cause I'll do that for you
I can taste the bitter sting of the blue

Stop and pray for a while
For everything goes wrong
My heart goes out on pause for you
When we sing the prisoner's song
The prisoner's song

I refuse to be a beaten man
I won't accept defeat
I've been reaching for the stars
'Cause you know I'm hard to beat
So step aside and wait your turn
'Cause you will get your time
But not till I'm dead and gone
'Cause I ain't finished with mine, no

Stop and pray for a while
For everything goes wrong
My heart goes out on pause for you
When we sing the prisoner's song
The prisoner's song

Sacrifice our souls for a working wage
A constant state of manifest rage
Cast off, abandoned and into the cold
Their time will come before they grow old

Stop and pray for a while
For everything goes wrong
My heart goes out on pause for you
When we sing the prisoner's song
The prisoner's song

Magnificent Rogue

You've seen me exploded
I've seen you get loaded
I ain't the type that's gonna hang around, no
I've been mistreated, beat up, deleted
I survived every world and turned it upside down

Bound on an unholy road
Bound on an unholy road
I'm a magnificent rogue
I'm a magnificent rogue

Well, I've been moving
While you've been sleeping
I won't take nothing laying on my back, no
I've been working
You've been talking
Lying dormant preparing for the next attack, go

Bound on an unholy road
Bound on an unholy road
I'm a magnificent rogue
I'm a magnificent rogue

One Way Ticket

Gonna find me a one-way, a one-way ticket
Gonna ride me right out of town
Gonna find me a one-way, a one-way ticket
Gonna ride me right out of town

We were washed up on the Gold Coast
We were blinded by the haze
We were lost alone in the cold, cold fog
Trying to get the hell away

Well, there's nothing for me here now
I can see it if I open my eyes
If I leave here, I'm a failure
But if I stay here, I'm gonna die

Gonna find me a one-way, a one-way ticket
Gonna ride me right out of town
Gonna find me a one-way, a one-way ticket
Gonna ride me right out of town

Well, there's nothing for me here now
I can see it if I open my eyes
If I leave here, I'm a failure
But if I stay here, I'm gonna die

Gonna find me a one-way, a one-way ticket
Gonna ride me right out of town

Hellbound Train

In a moonlight house
And the hellhound growls
And you're staring death in the face
And you never backed down
Trying to put you in the ground
Close the coffin door on your face

On a hellbound train
Hellbound train into fire tonight
On a hellbound train
Hellbound train into fire tonight

Crooked people lie
Reckless people die
Staying true to yourself 'til the end
Botched up heist and the guns weren't nice
When you're shooting your way out of the end

On a hellbound train
Hellbound train into fire tonight
On a hellbound train
Hellbound train into fire tonight

Eddie the Butcher

He can make a blind man see our lord
They call him Eddie the Butcher
You can die by pistol or knife or sword
They call him Eddie the Butcher

King of his trade and all the chaos that he made
Visions displayed, a thousand cuts from his blade
Surgical precision carried out with a mission
Security, prohibition, never indecision

He can make a blind man see our lord
They call him Eddie the Butcher
You can die by pistol or knife or sword
They call him Eddie the Butcher

Likely sides with a big long knife
Demon arise in a crimson sky
King of the flies, he's immortalized
No compassion, agonize

He can make a blind man see our lord
They call him Eddie the Butcher
You can die by pistol or knife or sword
They call him Eddie the Butcher

Hear Us Out

You're unique, like no other
Conduct your way to love one another
City's a beast, so let's take cover
For the concrete gets cold tonight

Hear us out
We've got to stick together regardless
We've got to do what we think is right
We've got to stick together regardless
Hear us out, hear us out, hear us out

This is our time, it won't last forever
Keep up the courage, it's our last endeavor
Blast the dark when the light delivers
A way out of here tonight

Hear us out
We've got to stick together regardless
We've got to do what we think is right
We've got to stick together regardless
Hear us out, hear us out, hear us out

When the Smoke Clears

Straight and narrow path now all twisted
Where the weak at heart can be restricted
Moonlight hollow in the dark light
I see you standing there

Careless beauty with a callous tongue
Bloodshot eyes and a broken arm
Work for pennies in a factory farm
It can only get better from here

When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears

Highlight the scars on your face
All the stars they seem out of place
Burning bridges in the golden hour
There's a whisper of love

When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears
When the smoke clears

(When the smoke clears) bloodshot eyes and a broken arm
(When the smoke clears) worked for pennies on a factory farm
(When the smoke clears) highlight the scars on your face
(When the smoke clears) all the stars, they seem out of place
