Silvertide - Ain't Comin' Home Lyrics

Silvertide Lyrics

Ain't Comin' Home Lyrics
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
a one-two here we go.
Back up, back up, back up yeah.
a-oh, my-my my my my my no.

Ain't turning back it's my time to fly
too many, decisions, and not enough time
But I always did like the thrill, living in the unknown
so back over a-mama 'cause I

I ain't comin' home
I ain't comin' home
I ain't comin' home
I ain't, comin' home (no no no).

Don't hold me back it's my, time to fly and
the Devil gave me, nine full lives.
And I, I say this with a full grin
cause nothing is better than, living in sin.

Cause I ain't, turning back it's my, time to fly (and)
decisions, and not enough enough time.
But I always did like the thrill, living in the unknown
so back over mama 'cause I.

I ain't comin' home
I ain't comin' home.
I ain't comin' home
I ain't, comin' home (no no no).

Cause you held me baby-a
I've been fl-fl-fl-fl-fl-flying so far.
Cause you can't leave me baby
you keep it pumpin' for me all night (ah, oh, ah ah ah ah ah ahh, OH YEAH!)

(guitar solo)

I'm turning back it's my
ooh no you see I ain't turning back.
I aint turning back it's my
you see I, I gotta head on out no
I ain't turning back it's my no no no no you see I

Turning back it's my time to fly too many
decisions, and not enough time.
But I always did like the thrill, living in the unknown
so back over up mama 'cause I.

I ain't comin' home
I ain't comin' home.
I ain't comin' home
I ain't, comin' home (no no no).

I ain't comin' home (back up, back up, back up)
I ain't comin' home (back up yeah).
I ain't comin' home (oh, ah ah ah oh ah ah oh no no)
I ain't comin' home (oh God, oh God).

A-yeah yeah yeah ya-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no.
YEAH!

Ain't Comin' Home Info:

• According to Kevin Frank 'It was the first song written when we were still in high school three and a half years ago. There's something about that song, you know, as we get the crowd into it and break it down, get them to follow along, then Walt will crowd surf or whatever. By the end of the show it's just an easy line to get people going, you know.'

• The single was released in 2004 and peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.

• Brian Weaver, Kevin Frank, Walt Lafty, Mark Melchiorre Jr., & Nick Perri share writing credits on the song.
