Spider-Man 3 Soundtrack Lyrics

Snow Patrol - Signal Fire

The perfect words never crossed my mind,
Cause there was nothin' in there but you.
I felt every ounce of me screaming out,
But the sound was trapped deep in me.
All I wanted just sped right past me,
While I was rooted fast to the earth,
I could be stuck here for a thousand years,
Without your arms to drag me out.

[Chorus:]
There you are standing right in front of me
There you are standing right in front of me
All this fear falls away to leave me naked,
Hold me close, cause I need you to guide me to safety.

No, I won't wait forever [x2]

In the confusion and the aftermath,
You are my signal fire.
The only resolution and the only joy,
Is the faint spark of forgiveness in your eyes.

[Chorus (x2)]

No, I won't wait forever [x3]

The Killers - Move Away

Last time I said I was in control
I had 25 debts and we both know
When you come back now
You'll see my face
I said 25 debts and we both pray

While I move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
These eyes don't see
Take your skin off when you listen to me
Move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
These eyes in me
Take your skin off when you're talkin' to me
Me...

Oh what a world that we both come in
I said hold it to the rock and let it in
Oh what a world that we are in
I said hold it to the rock and we're both in

While I move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
These eyes don't see
Take your skin off when you listen to me
Move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
These eyes don't see
Take your skin off when you're listenin' to me

Don't worry bout what might have been
Just tell your woman that you're sorry
And you jumped out of your skin
Listen closely to your motto
Don't worry bout what might have been
Tell the jury that you're sorry
And just jump out of your skin
I wanna jump out of my skin
I wanna jump out of my skin
And watch the clouds

Move away
I'm never gonna live it down
Move away
Move away
Move move move move away
Move away

Move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
These eyes don't see
Take your skin off when you listen to me
Move away
Hard times don't come until tomorrow
Move away
Move away
Move away
Move away

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Sealings

Checked my glove for the cash
It was all for the one, for the one
Slept my baby through it all
Checked my door for the crash
Shut like the first, you shut the last
I won, I won, slept my baby through it all

I want out, I want out
I want out, I want out

Drop, drop down a floor
Shoot, shoot out your mouth
These days are scraped from ceilings
Drop, drop down a floor
Shoot, shoot out your mouth
These days are scraped from ceilings

I want out, well, I want

Checked my glove for the cash
It was all for the one, for the one
Slept my baby through it all
Checked my door for the crash
Shut like the first, you shut the last
I won, I won, slept my baby through it all

Love is in the metal
Love is in the metal
Love is in the metal
Love is in the ooh
Who loves who?

Love is in the metal
Love is in the metal
Love is in the metal
Love is in the ooh
Who loves who?

Drop, drop down a floor
Shoot, shoot out your mouth
These days are scraped from ceilings
Drop, drop down a floor
Shoot, shoot out your mouth
These days are scraped from ceilings

I want out, well I want, I want

Left my love for the cash
Left my love for the cash
Left my love for the cash
Only one can pass

Left my love for the cash
Left my love for the cash
Only one can pass
Left my love for the cash

The Walkmen - Red River

The light is finally fading
And so i say goodnight
I step out in the darkness
Around the firelight
I step out in the darkness
Lost my way around
I'm going now
but I'll be by tonight
I'll get held up by this heart of mine

I was forgotten and
Buried in the ground
I was reborn into this world
Never made it out

I wandered through the morning
I strode along the lines
I woke up in the trenches
They left the dead behind
I woke up in the trenches
Burned up in the mud
And now I'm gone
It just bury me alive
If I'm held up by this heart of mine

Oh no
It's all forgotten and
Buried in the ground
I was reborn into this world
Never made it out

Red River
Carry me home
I never
Been so alone
When the lime
Messed up my eyes
Red River
Carry me home

Black Mountain - Stay Free

And there comes a time
When you when you aughta know
Well it's stormy outside
So quit, so quit all that runnin'
Were birds on the street
Oh the sweat in your pores

Oh stay free

Money, the sundown
Stiff on their knees
Oh beautiful ponyies
So beautiful
They'll kill us all.

Lets hide ourselfs together
Down under the stairs
Don't you leave

Oh hey what did they say,
To get you so lonesome today?

Oh hey restless brown eyes,
Don't you sound.

And there comes a time
When you, when you aughta know
Oh there comes a time
So quit, so quit all that runnin'

Were fire in the sky
Oh the death at your door
Oh stay free

The Flaming Lips - The Supreme Being Teaches Spider-Man How to Be in Love

The first round goes, we go to blows,
I'm the Spider-Man nobody knows,
But the spider conceals the truth.
The spectums raise your ringside days,
I've been in love with you for a million days,
But the fighter conceals his wounds.

I'm in love with you but I fight the urge.
Muhammad Ali makes a third round surge,
And the audience can see the truth.
His punches land I can hardly stand,
I've got the power of a spider but the heart of a man,
But the power is in the truth.

Honesty can kill the spider,
Muhammad Ali feels the same,
The audience can give you power,
And I hear them call my name (Here comes the Spider-Man),
Hear them call my name (Does whatever a spider can).
I hear them call my name (Here comes the Spider-Man),
Hear them call my name (Does whatever a spider can).

At the seventh round you make a sound,
Muhammad Ali only knocks me down,
He whispered to tell the truth.
I say 'I'm in love with you' at the knock out count,
The audience cheers as the champ wins out,
But now you know the truth.

Honesty can kill the fighter.
Muhammad Ali knows the same.
Honestly the truth is power,
And I hear you call my name (Here comes the Spider-Man),
Hear you call my name (Does whatever a spider can).
I hear you call my name (Here comes the Spider-Man),
Hear you call my name (Does whatever a spider can).
I hear you call my name (Here comes the Spider-Man),
Hear you call my name (Does whatever a spider can).

I hear you call my name,
Hear you call my name.

Simon Dawes - Scared of Myself

May I never become unloved by you
May you never have to know my shadows by the name
You're my heroine and you're a rose in my tea
May I never become unloved by you.

May I always be on my way to you
May I never have to meet the man I'd be alone
I'm your criminal and you're my only friend
May I always be on my way to you.

Cause I'm scared, scared of myself
Oh, I'm scared, scared of myself
Oh, I'm scared, scared of myself without you.

I have found a way to watch over you
I have found a way to face the burden of my dreams
They are crooked but they're,well they're all I have
I have found a way to watch over you.

Yes, I'm scared scared of myself
Oh, I'm scared, scared of myself
Oh, I'm scared, scared of myself without you.

Cause I'm scared, scared of myself without you.
Without you.

Rogue Wave - Sight Lines

This night is broken
Is broken
Your mind is your prison
Is your prison

These sight, these sight lines

Your eyes have seen the sunset
In the west end
The chaos of spinning signs
Of who's lost and,
Who's listening

These sight, these sight lines
Unflailing away
That you'd never grow louder
Hopeless again
You're perpetually fallen
Fallen again

You've no time to squander
Your existence
They'll pull you down
Until there's no choice left but to resist them

These sight, these sight lines
Unflailing away
That you'd never grown lover
Hopeless again
You're perpetually fallen
Fallen again

You kept control
What all your senses fear
You can't protect
The ones that you hold dear
It swallows you up
Until you disappear

And you'll never know
How to get home again
Home again
How to get home again
Home again
How to get home again

This night is broken
Is broken

Jet - Falling Star

Know That I Loved You From The Start
When we've believed in who we are
I never dreamed my life this way.

Don't wish upon a falling star
love all in a land is who we are
I dreamed a dream, so much has changed.

Wake! You've been sleeping
And tell me what do you believe in
You Fell So Far
You should have been a star.

Before the light begins to fade
I was hoping that you'd show me the way
To never ever be afraid to change.

Wake! You've been sleeping
And tell me what do you believe in
Wake! You've been sleeping
You've pushed too far now you're bleeding
You Fell So Far
you should have been a star.

And the light that you've been keeping inside
Will guide you on your way.

Sounds Under Radio - Portrait of a Summer Thief

You open up to say you're feeling all right
With pictures on the wall
You'll figure out that feeling here is all right
With still frames in the hall
But it's not that hard

Could you save me from
Could you be there for me?
Could you wake me from
Could you be my thief?

These summer stars are fading out
Your silhouette reminds me now
Of all the things I wish I could have said
So picturesque and black print dress your darkened hair a perfect mess
I touch you with my hands, could only try
But it's not that hard...

Could you save me from
Could you be there for me?
Could you wake me from
Could you be my thief?

Just open up, you said you'd open up
I wish you'd open up, why can't you open up?

Could you save me from
Could you be there for me?
Could you wake me from
Could you be my thief?

Wasted Youth Orchestra - A Letter to St. Jude

I have never seen the moon this drunk before
My altar is under a blanket
Just inside the hall door
I suppose I should feel something
For everyone out there
And I do

And I want to be of help
I do, I do want to be of use
I don't know what to do
With all the pray's coming through
Coming through

Once again I cornered into pleasantries
Every martyr turns his hopes into his fees
I suppose I should do something
For everyone out there
And I want to

And I want to be of help
I do, I do want to be of use
I don't know what to do
With all the pray's coming through
Coming through

Pray to me and I'll
Pray to me and I'll...

And I want to be of help
I do, I do want to be of use
And I want to be of help
I do, I do want to be of use

I have never ever seen the moon this drunk, drunk before
I have never seen the moon this drunk before
I have never seen the moon this drunk before
I have never seen the moon this drunk before
I have never seen the moon this drunk before

The Oohlas - Small Parts

You know i am in trouble lately
You've got my mind going crazy
And now i am sick i cannot function anymore
The decay of a former stone heart
Distributed into small parts
Now i cease to grow
I cannot function anymore
Ahhh
Don't go out the back door
Ahhh
That's what the front's for
Chew me up and spit me out
I can't take anymore
Paint me violet and shake the red out
Run inside for you can't come back down
I believe you now
Just spill me out onto the floor
The decay of a former stone heart
Distributed into small parts
Now we cease to grow we cannot function anymore
Do not leave me here
I'll lose my sense of kindness
For the world is but a vapor
And i've lost myself again

Back to: Spider-Man

Music from and Inspired by Spider-Man 3 is a soundtrack album to Sam Raimi's 2007 film Spider-Man 3. It was released on May 1, 2007.

Unlike the first two Spider-Man soundtrack releases, the album does not feature any of the film's score by Christopher Young. The entire concept of this soundtrack is that each song was written (or recorded in the case of The Flaming Lips) for the soundtrack exclusively, with the exception of Chubby Checker's 1960 hit "The Twist".

The album does not include the James Brown song "People Get Up and Drive Your Funky Soul", which is played in the film during the scene in which Peter, under the influence of the alien symbiote, struts and dances in the street.
