Analog heart at Pelican Park
It's there, you know that's what I meant
A once permanent tide will soon die
The frost no longer stays, it subsides
The marginal benefit outweighs the cost
Of the the things I have lost
The remedy is lacking at best
I just need to relent the loneliness
Well isn't this a cold embrace
A welcomed one, nevertheless
I've missed seeing a familiar face
Even if that smile is devoid of grace
Oh, I enjoy long walks on the beach
The sand creeping in between my feet
Oh, I want to know where the world serpent lives
Speak a dead tongue for I do wish
Of the times where the border didn't cave in
Don't lose optimism, you know I'll win
