The old man says to me
I was blessed with everything
All the good things in life
And It turned out pretty nice
But sometimes I feel
I never got it right
He said, I did all I could do
I gathered up all the clues
I purchased all the toys
And things that brought me joy
But sometimes I still feel
I'm just a little boy
But now I've grown so old
My wrinkles seem like they grow
I'm always the last to know
I'm all dressed up with no place to go
The blue has faded from my jeans
I fart when I eat, pork and beans
I stopped telling lies
And stories that make me look wise
But sometimes I still feel
I'm not a nice guy
Sometimes I feel like a fool
But I mended all my open wounds
I always shot for the moon
My dream's never end too soon
But sometimes I still feel
I'm way out of tune
But how I have grown this old
The wrinkles seem like they glow
I'm always the last to know
I'm all dressed up with no place to go
