It started at forty without any warning
Hot flashes came on her so strong
And to my suprise I wasn't that wise
Knowing how could they last all that long
It's just my opinion about all you women
You got the raw end of the deal
Living with child birth, dealing with monthly hurt
Running home fixing all the meals
She's getting hot flashes
While I sit here freezing
She want's to jump, into a pool
I have to be dressed in a warm winter jacket
As long as my baby stays cool
She's now in her fifty's and still feeling frisky
She's worked her way thru all the fears
And feeling much younger, she's worked even harder
Then I ever did in my years
Without hesitation, I'm making this statement
She's handled it all without tear's
I can see clearly, a strength that's endearing
My love for her grow's, thru the years
She's getting hot flashes
While I sit here freezing
She want's to jump, into a pool
I have to be dressed in a warm winter jacket
As long as my baby stays cool
