A rose at my window reminds me of Home
A rose without spikes
It makes me think of those nights
When metallurgical skies
All went red like a fire, like warmth
Such a big thing and such a small Role
Such a sad times for such little Lives
For such a big city
And for such a wrong reasons and Goals
And once a year I'm gonna cry
Cry as baby
Cry as a child
Cry as a boy
And once a year I'm gonna pray
Pray for the better
Pray for the peace
Pray for their souls
I'll keep shouting to silence
I'll keep faking my smiles
I'll keep paying my dues
And keep them
In my heart
In my blood
In my soul
Cause once I 've suddenly known
That all the brightest roses fade in Fall
A rose at my window reminds me of Her
Her blossoming smile
Which makes me think of those Fights
When metallurgical skies all turned Red
She always fought in her heart and Her head
Such a small meaning for such a big World
Such a hard life for such a pure Soul
For such a great person
But in such a wrong places and Times
And then again
For such a wrong reasons and goals
And once a year I'm gonna cry
Cry as a baby
Cry as a child
Cry as a boy
And once a year I'm gonna pray
Pray for the better
Pray for the peace
Pray for her soul
I'll keep shouting to silence
I'll keep faking my smiles
I'll keep paying my dues
And keep her
In my mind
In my genes
In my world
Cause once I 've been told
That all the brightest roses fade in Fall
