Behind grey clouds lies the sun
Waiting for my time to come
I needed to feel something
Something beyond the pain
So I set out avoyage
To find how others frame
Their lives of such mediocrity
To win but never gain
On a ship with countless others
All looking for the same
I wonder fast as I fill my flask
Is reality just pain?
Setting sail for greener shores
Should we ever fine them
The ship hears a crash
To smash the souls of fine men
Sailing across the sea
Now we sit in purgatory
Each man must by his post stand
Life and death are in his hands
Provisional conjecture
All want to adventure
All want to see the play
Yet all want to feature
Side by side the bottle cracks
And the ship comes falling free
My will shall never snap
So long as I am me
The Vast ocean swallows fast
The mast's eagle has sung her last
Reaching for the cold door
But behind it there's no shore
The vast ocean of my life
Swirling all around me
Blurred days of strife
Have ever surrounded me
I fuel my craft
Fueled by my emotions
I live through days of woe
To find my black soul aglow
The last man chooses not to swim
He chooses to but wait
Lets the sea carry him
And accepts his fate
