Hanging from one arm off third floor stairs
I've howled at streetlights and late night tv
Been moved past tears by pop radio
I knew it was cause and effect
A sad story, sorry music for empathy
There's a death wish in anyone
Who's been cheated on
And so I hung

All things seek equilibrium
And imbalances must be stabilized
And though these nerves were numb
During interaction I realized
That people are powered by batteries
Whose alkaline can be recharged
From the celestial magnetism
In open ended questions
Traveling across constellations
Gathering Jupiter's gravity
Descending at the intersection
Of today here her and me
