One of the problems
Not specifically on this issue
Just in general, that uh
That um err
Lets put it this way
Money trumps erm ah peace sometimes
At this hour American and coalition forces
Are in the early stages of military operations
To disarm Iraq and to defend the world from grave danger
On Tuesday night I gave the order for British forces
To take part in military action in Iraq and disarm Iraq
Of its weapons of mass destruction
Weapons of mass murder
Weapons of mass destruction
Weapons of mass murder
Two wrongs don't make a right
It takes two to start a fight
What's it matter who's to blame
When inside we're all the same
You preach, you're righteous
With war, you blight us
You claim, it's sacred
Inciting hatred
Too long has this gone on
Won't be long till we're all gone
What's caused this great divide
None of this is justified
There'll be hell to pay (Hell to pay)
Don't make the same mistake
Thinking you can say (You can say)
It was in his name
Past the point of no return
Funny how you never learn
What's done can't be undone
Looking out for number one
You preach, you're righteous
With war, you blight us
You claim, it's sacred
Inciting hatred
Lost sight of what's inside
Wonder what you have to hide
Hope you don't believe the lies
Took your eyes off the prize
There'll be hell to pay (Hell to pay)
Don't make the same mistake
Thinking you can say (You can say)
It was in his name
But this new world faces a new threat
Of disorder and chaos
Born either of brutal states like Iraq
Armed with weapons of mass destruction
Or the extreme terrorist groups
Who both hate our way of life
Our freedom, our democracy
These tyrannical states
Do not care for the sanctity of human life
The terrorists delight in destroying it
Vast amounts of chemical and biological poisons
Such as Anthrax, VX nerve agent and mustard gas
Remain unaccounted for in Iraq
Hundreds of thousands die
Sixty percent of the population dependant on food aid
And thousands of children die every year
Through malnutrition and disease
Hundreds of thousands are been driven from their homes or murdered
Two wrongs don't make a right
It takes two to start a fight
What's it matter who's to blame
When inside we're all the same
You preach, you're righteous
With war, you blight us
You claim, it's sacred
Inciting hatred
As we gather tonight our nation is at war
Our economy is in recession
And the civilised world faces unprecedented dangers
Your nation will soon be free
Thank you
Thank you
