Vold Book - The Redeemer Lyrics

Vold Book - The Redeemer Lyrics

The great masters of light and of shadow served their time
In the dark of the old hollow. One cannot escape if one merely follows
Christianity is a beautiful religion of the wise. Brings together community
That it means so much is no surprise. Lost in the darkness, I could not find my faith
Underneath a Christmas tree until I expanded my horizons beyond the church
It's okay, you don't have to cry. There is not a good reason why
You were misled to believe that there is only one place of worship underneath our providential sun
Jesus Christ was a great master of light and of shadow. Served his time in the dark of the hollow
There's a right of passage you can't avoid. Is God behind this or the spiteful devil?
Perhaps neither one is even so real
I will help you if I can dear, but you must carry the burden of your own cross
Through the valleys of your saintly strife. They will tell you we're unworthy of his sacrifice
You must make your own sacrifice of their family. You may lose friends, but in the end
God wants you to explore your options. He is gone, but he's not forgotten
Your pain deserves a true solution. There Is a way out if you think and make it happen
You can overcome the limitations of your past. Find a new way in what is called Agnosticism
Broaden your relationship with God to include asking questions that you hold and research
Until you have answers. Waiting is a part of the process that makes you stronger
You are an electric piano that writes its own songs. Pretty soon you will find that
You are not the only one to find faith in a different calling that is also open to anyone who
Wants to find their purpose without getting too involved in religion
There are many people who have walked in yer shoes
Losing your religion is painful. There is not any way around that
Just like other times in life you will overcome the darkness and find your way in the light
You have everything that you need to make this happen. Other religions are fascinating too
They each have their own benefits and what they can do for you
Now that you are not stuck in a single way of looking at
Meaning in a time of near endless possibility. I have created a unique set of views for myself
Based on almost everything that I have come across in my lifetime
I will share what I think about everything if you are respectful
There is a line that I do not care to cross in this time of anger at those who think different
My views are quite common. Back to the suffering that you must feel
I hope that I can alleviate some pain. It is what I think Jesus would try to do
Look outside, the snow is falling, and the birds have all migrated
I have heard of a single bird who has stayed behind
Maybe his path is to serve as a symbol for us
His name isn't Jesus, but he might try to help us remember the spirit of Christmas
This time of year we all want some warmth
