Earth: The cradle of life in the known universe
Or at least by how we define it
It was not always here and it is by no means
The center of the universe save by perception
Something that is bound by space and time
And binds our own existence
But man-kind has always sought to push past the boundaries they were found in
And so looked to the stars
Shame however
We missed them for our own ambition
Space: The endless void of nothing
Consisting of dust particles and gaseous chemical reactions
(The further travesty of perception)
We have come to view the Cosmos as but a laboratory
Filled with objects to satiate the hunger of rational minds
With ravenous eyes pressed against a telescope
We are left blind and searching for meaning to our imagination
But the universe is so much more
The Heavens are a blazing tapestry
Immense in beauty and intricate detail
Lights beaming across boundless skies piercing clouds of monotony
Colors swirling with life and vibrancy
The sounds
Oh, the music of the Cosmos is unmatched
If only you could hear the Heavens sing as they do
Sound waves vibrating throughout
Shaking the unknown from the halls of infinium
Crashing upon alien fields and unseen shores
Colliding like titanic monuments
Ringing with immeasurable resonance and harmony
Our universe a symphony of glorious entropy
No
Our planet is silent in comparison: dull and colorless
And we have only just begun to sing
