Why is it that everybody use depression as a trend
Why do people do me wrong then try to make amends
I remember when I was lonely
I ain't have no friends
Now I see through all the lies
These are expensive lens
Cause everything come at a price
You start to see through people
Then they don't act as nice
They start faking on you
They start changing on you
Then when you down bad they ain't praying for you
Now I'm chilling in my room
Listening to the classics
Can't wait for the day where I can say
I've been had it
I swear people don't know what I've been through
They try to make assumptions off face value
People don't care about who you are
They care about what you got
That's why I gotta grind so I can get to the top
Yeah I hit my downfall, but I came back harder
Cooked in the lab worked on myself now I came back smarter
Why is that everybody wants to be from the bottom
People praising the hood stuff like that can get you caught up
Momma I promise on day I'll make you proud
Auntie G I swear I miss you I wish you could see me now
I will make a name
For my generation
You tripping if you think Ima be gone before I make a statement
So chill sit back relax and press play
Because I still got some things that I need to say
Ever since I was little I've always been so prophetic
To the people that switched up on me I won't forget it
Why can't the world understand that were all people
They're all too arrogant realize were all equal
White people gotta stop with the culture appropriation
And black people gotta stop with the jealousy
Because every time you call them out on it they say you hating
And you gonna kill him because he got better stuff on his feet
Man this world messed up
And we still gotta save it before were stuck in a rut
And now people are talking about moving to mars
So I guess they want pollution all the way to the stars
And gun violence is worse than any other
You got little black boys taken from they mother
This world needs fixing
And that's facts
I shouldn't have to feel like I got a target on my back
Why is that everybody wants to be from the bottom
People praising the hood stuff like that can get you caught up
Momma I promise on day I'll make you proud
Erick Melgar I miss you I wish you could see me now
I will make a name
For my generation
You tripping if you think Ima be gone before I make a statement
Thank you for sitting back and pressing play
Those are just my thoughts I have nothing else to say
